DigiFlash Pro expands your pattern library with exclusive, professionally designed block patterns that go beyond what’s available in the free DigiFlash theme. These premium patterns provide additional design options for building complete, polished websites without coding.
What Are Premium Block Patterns
Premium block patterns are pre-designed layout sections available only to DigiFlash Pro users. These patterns insert into the WordPress Site Editor just like the free patterns included with DigiFlash, but offer more specialized designs and functionality for specific website needs.
Each premium pattern is fully responsive, customizable through the Site Editor, and built using core WordPress blocks. You can modify colors, typography, spacing, and content to match your brand while maintaining the professional design structure.
Premium Pattern Categories
DigiFlash Pro adds four new pattern categories to your Site Editor pattern library, each containing multiple pattern variations.
Newsletter – Subscription forms and email signup sections designed to grow your mailing list. These patterns include compelling copy areas, email input fields, and call-to-action buttons styled to encourage signups. Use newsletter patterns in your footer, as popups, or within page content to capture visitor emails.
Blog – Advanced blog layouts beyond the standard WordPress post displays. These patterns include featured post showcases, post grids with custom styling, author bio sections, related posts displays, and specialized blog landing pages. Blog patterns help create magazine-style layouts and engaging content presentations.
Team – Professional team member showcases displaying your staff, contributors, or organization members. Team patterns include photo displays with names and titles, biography sections, social media links, and various grid or list layouts. These patterns work well for about pages, team directories, and staff introduction sections.
eCommerce – Product showcases and shopping-focused layouts for WooCommerce or DigiCommerce sites. eCommerce patterns include product grids, featured product sections, promotional banners, product category displays, and shopping-focused call-to-action sections. These patterns integrate seamlessly with eCommerce plugins to create compelling online stores.
Accessing Premium Patterns
Premium patterns become available automatically after activating DigiFlash Pro with a valid license. Access them through the WordPress Site Editor when creating or editing pages, posts, or templates.
Open the Site Editor by navigating to Appearance > Editor in your WordPress admin. Click the + button or type / to open the block inserter. Select the Patterns tab to view all available patterns. Scroll through the categories or use the category filter to find Newsletter, Blog, Team, or eCommerce patterns marked with the Pro designation.
Using Premium Patterns
Insert premium patterns the same way you use any WordPress block pattern. Click on a pattern preview to insert it into your page or template at the cursor position. The pattern adds as a group of blocks that you can immediately customize.
After inserting a pattern, modify the content by clicking into text areas and typing your own copy. Replace placeholder images by clicking on images and selecting your own from the media library. Adjust colors using the block toolbar or sidebar settings. Change spacing, typography, and layout using the block settings panel.
Premium patterns maintain their structure and professional design while allowing complete customization of content and styling.
Integration with DigiBlocks
If you have the DigiBlocks plugin installed and active alongside DigiFlash Pro, additional premium patterns become available that leverage DigiBlocks’ advanced block functionality. These patterns use DigiBlocks’ enhanced blocks for more complex layouts and interactive features.
DigiBlocks patterns load automatically when the plugin is detected. You don’t need to configure anything—simply install both DigiFlash Pro and DigiBlocks to access the expanded pattern library.
Pattern Organization
Premium patterns organize within their respective categories in the pattern inserter. Each category contains multiple pattern variations, giving you options for different design styles and content structures.
Browse patterns by category to find designs suited to your current page needs. Preview patterns before inserting by hovering over thumbnails in the pattern library. The preview shows the complete pattern layout, helping you choose the right design.
Customizing Premium Patterns
All premium patterns are fully editable using WordPress’s Site Editor. Select any block within an inserted pattern to access editing options. Change text, images, colors, spacing, and any other block properties through the standard WordPress interface.
Patterns serve as starting points for your design. Modify them as much or as little as needed to match your website’s style. Add or remove blocks within patterns to adjust the layout. Combine multiple patterns on a single page to create complete custom layouts.
Pattern Updates
DigiFlash Pro updates may include new premium patterns or improvements to existing patterns. When you update DigiFlash Pro, new patterns automatically become available in your pattern library.
Existing pages using premium patterns remain unchanged during updates. Pattern improvements only affect newly inserted patterns, ensuring your published content stays exactly as you designed it.
Using Patterns in Templates
Premium patterns work in both pages and templates. Insert them into page content for standalone sections, or add them to templates for site-wide layouts. Newsletter patterns in your footer template create consistent email capture across all pages. Blog patterns in archive templates enhance post listings throughout your site.
Access templates by going to Appearance > Editor > Templates and selecting the template to edit. Insert premium patterns into templates the same way you add them to regular pages.
