Generating New Content
To create content with AI, navigate to a page or post and click the Write with AI button. This opens the AI content generation interface where you can specify what type of content you want to create.
In the content prompt area, provide detailed instructions about what you want the AI to generate. Be specific about the angle, key points to cover, target audience, and desired tone. The more detailed your prompt, the better the AI can match your requirements.
Click Generate Content to start the AI writing process. Depending on your token settings and the complexity of your prompt, generation typically takes 10-30 seconds. The generated content appears in a preview area where you can review it before adding it to WordPress.
Refining Your Prompts
The quality of AI-generated content depends heavily on your prompts. Include specific details about the topic, desired word count or length, tone and style preferences, target audience, and key points or sections to include.
For example, instead of prompting “write about social media marketing,” use “write a 1000-word blog post about social media marketing strategies for small businesses. Include sections on content planning, platform selection, and engagement tactics. Use a professional but approachable tone.”
If the first generation doesn’t meet your needs, refine your prompt with more specific instructions and generate again. You can create multiple versions and choose the one that works best.
Editing Generated Content
Once the AI generates content, review it carefully before publishing. The preview area displays the full generated text with WordPress block formatting. Read through the content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with your brand voice.
