DigiFlash receives regular updates that include new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes. Keeping your theme updated ensures optimal performance and compatibility with the latest WordPress version.
Checking for Updates
Navigate to Dashboard → Updates in your WordPress admin panel. If a DigiFlash update is available, it will appear in the Themes section with the current version number and the available update version.
You can also check from Appearance → Themes. Themes with available updates display an “Update Available” notification banner.
Updating Through WordPress Dashboard
- Go to Dashboard → Updates
- Locate DigiFlash in the Themes section
- Check the box next to DigiFlash
- Click Update Themes
The update process typically completes within seconds. WordPress will automatically download and install the new version.
Updating from Themes Page
- Navigate to Appearance → Themes
- Click on the DigiFlash theme card
- Click Update Now
The theme will update immediately without leaving the Themes page.
Automatic Updates
You can enable automatic updates for DigiFlash:
- Go to Appearance → Themes
- Click on DigiFlash
- Click Enable auto-updates
WordPress will automatically install DigiFlash updates when they become available.
After Updating
Once the update completes, your site continues running with the new theme version. All your customizations, templates, and content remain intact. DigiFlash updates preserve your Site Editor configurations and custom patterns.
