What the AI Content Writer Does
The AI Content Writer uses large language models to generate written content based on your prompts and instructions. You can create complete articles, product descriptions, service pages, about sections, and any other text content your website needs.
The tool integrates directly into your WordPress editor, allowing you to generate content without leaving your site or copying text between applications. Generated content appears in the WordPress block editor where you can review, edit, and publish it immediately.
Accessing the AI Content Writer
After activating DigiFlash Pro, the AI Content Writer becomes available in your WordPress admin panel. Activate it under Appearance > DigiFlash, it will display a Write with AI button in posts and pages..
The AI Writer interface provides options for generating new content or enhancing existing text. You can access AI features from the dedicated AI Writer page or directly within the post editor when creating or editing content.
Supported AI Providers
DigiFlash Pro supports two leading AI providers, giving you flexibility in choosing which language model to use.
OpenAI (ChatGPT) – Uses GPT models to generate content with a wide range of knowledge and writing styles. OpenAI’s models excel at creative writing, marketing copy, and general-purpose content generation.
Anthropic (Claude) – Uses Claude models known for longer context windows and nuanced understanding. Claude performs well with detailed instructions and maintaining consistent tone throughout longer content pieces.
You select your preferred AI provider in the DigiFlash settings and enter the corresponding API key. You can switch between providers at any time based on your content needs.
Content Generation Capabilities
The AI Content Writer can generate various types of content:
Blog Posts – Complete articles with introductions, body sections, and conclusions based on your topic or title.
Page Content – Landing pages, about pages, service descriptions, and other static page content.
Custom Post Types – Content for any custom post types enabled on your site, such as portfolio items, testimonials, or product descriptions.
You provide the AI with context through prompts, specifying the topic, tone, length, and any specific points you want covered. The AI then generates content matching your requirements.
Configuration and Settings
Before using the AI Content Writer, you need to configure it in the DigiFlash dashboard. Navigate to Appearance > DigiFlash and scroll to the AI Settings section.
The configuration includes selecting your AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic), entering your API key from the chosen provider, adjusting the temperature setting that controls creativity and randomness in generated content, and setting the maximum token count that determines how long the generated content can be.
You also select which post types should have AI writing capabilities enabled. By default, posts and pages are enabled, but you can add custom post types as needed.
API Keys and Costs
The AI Content Writer requires an API key from either OpenAI or Anthropic. These API keys connect DigiFlash Pro to the AI provider’s servers to generate content.
API keys are obtained directly from OpenAI at platform.openai.com or from Anthropic at console.anthropic.com. Both providers use a pay-as-you-go pricing model based on the amount of content you generate. You’ll need to add payment information to your API provider account to use their services.
DigiFlash Pro does not charge additional fees for AI content generation beyond your DigiFlash Pro license. All content generation costs come directly from your chosen AI provider based on their pricing structure.
