Accessing the Site Editor Styles

The Site Editor Styles panel in DigiFlash allows you to customize your website’s visual appearance globally, including colors, typography, spacing, and other design elements.

Opening the Site Editor

Navigate to Appearance → Editor from your WordPress dashboard. This opens the WordPress Site Editor interface where you can manage templates, template parts, and global styles.

Accessing the Styles Panel

Once in the Site Editor, locate the Styles icon in the top-right corner of the screen. The Styles icon appears as a circular button with abstract shapes inside, positioned next to the Settings icon.

Click on the Styles icon to open the Styles panel. This panel slides in from the right side of the screen and displays all available style options for your DigiFlash theme.

Navigating Style Categories

Within the Styles panel, you’ll find several categories organized vertically:

Typography – Access font families, font sizes, line heights, and text decoration options

Colors – Manage color palettes, background colors, text colors, and link colors

Layout – Control content width, padding, and overall spacing

Dimensions – Adjust spacing scale, content width, and wide width settings

Additional Options – Configure buttons, links, headings, borders, and shadows

Click on any category to expand it and view the available customization options. Each category opens a sub-panel with specific controls for that design element.

Using the Browse Styles Feature

At the top of the Styles panel, you’ll see a “Browse styles” option. Clicking this shows you all available style variations that come pre-configured with DigiFlash. These style variations provide different color schemes and typography combinations that you can apply with a single click.

Editing Individual Block Styles

Below the main style categories, you’ll find a “Blocks” section. This section allows you to customize the default appearance of individual block types. Click on any block name to access style settings specific to that block, such as buttons, headings, or paragraphs.

Returning to the Editor

To close the Styles panel and return to editing your templates or pages, click the back arrow in the top-left corner of the Styles panel, or click anywhere outside the panel on the main editor canvas.
